Cedar Point II Wind Facility

Cedar Point II Wind Facility

Cedar Point II is a 100 MW wind project located in Forest, Ontario. The project consists of 46 Siemens direct drive turbines that are connected back to the project-owned substation. Power is then sent down the transmission line, where it passes through several other jointly owned substations, eventually ending up at Hydro One’s main grid, where 100% of the green energy is offloaded. The project also has an O&M building where the operators, repair crews, and spare parts are housed.
