Single Room Occupancy is a portfolio of 13 community housing buildings with a combined space of approximately 350,000 square feet in Vancouver, British Columbia. The portfolio provides housing to approximately 900 low income residents. The project won a Silver Award for Social Housing Innovation with the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships. By providing access to safe and sustainable accommodation, the project helps residents work towards a better life and improve the overall revitalization of Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside.
