Alina Osorio BEng, P.Eng., MBA, CFA
President, Fiera Infrastructure
Alina Osorio is the President of Fiera Infrastructure. Since partnering with Fiera Capital in 2016 to form Fiera Infrastructure, Alina has presided over the firm’s significant growth, expanding assets under management more than 15-fold. As President, she is responsible for setting strategic direction, overseeing investment strategies, executing acquisitions, and managing an infrastructure portfolio with over C$4 billion in AUM.
Alina is a seasoned investment professional in the infrastructure investment and financing sector. She has contributed to the evolution of the infrastructure asset class during her many years of experience from her roles initially as an equity research analyst covering Canadian utility companies, an investment banker in the infrastructure space, then a principal investor, and, finally, a portfolio strategist for a major Canadian pension fund. Alina has extensive experience and an established track record as a principal investor in infrastructure, including her role as the CEO of North America’s first unlisted infrastructure fund focused in both Canada and the US, the Macquarie Essential Assets Partnership (“MEAP”). Thereafter Alina led the infrastructure program at OPTrust, with a capital allocation of C$2.5 billion to the infrastructure strategy.
Alina holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
