Alina Osorio BEng, P.Eng., MBA, CFA

Alina is a seasoned investment professional in the infrastructure investment and financing sector. She has contributed to the evolution of theinfrastructure asset class during her many years of experience from her roles, initially as an equity research analyst covering Canadian utilitycompanies, an investment banker in the infrastructure space, then a principal investor, and, finally, a portfolio strategist for a major Canadian pension fund. Most recently, she previously served as President of Fiera Infrastructure.
Alina has extensive experience and an established track record as a principal investor in infrastructure, including her role as the CEO of North America’s first unlisted infrastructure fund focused in both Canada and the U.S., the Macquarie Essential Assets Partnership (“MEAP”). Thereafter Alina led the infrastructure program at OPTrust with a capital allocation of C$2.5 billion to the infrastructure strategy.
Alina holds a Bachelor of Engineering from McGill University and an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst and a Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario.
